If you've read any of my blog posts over the last couple weeks you've probably gleaned that I love New Years and the fresh start & blank slate that it brings. I think something about the energy of a New Year can be so inspiring and refocusing. One thing I've seen a lot of this year, however, is almost a push telling people not to set goals, or not to feel pressured to do so. Some things I've read have almost villianized it...as if wanting to become a better version of yourself, no matter how small the improvement, isn't a worthy effort. So today I just want to talk through my personal mindset for the New Year when it comes to setting goals and silencing doubt...and hopefully you will find it helpful if you've felt the same way!Read More

I always used to start my days like that, and to be honest I do think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I'm really a very routine-oriented person and I like to read these in the morning first thing or really not at all. I know that's not the right mindset because I need to do it anytime. I just like to start my day with it!Read More
Finding Motivation & Getting Out of a Workout Rut

It's intrinsically linked to exercise and finding a routine, and so naturally people always ask the question about finding motivation.
