Breakfast & Coffee: First thing this AM I had a cup of coffee before my workout. Then after I had my second cup with my breakfast. Lately I mix in half a scoop of this collagen powder into the coffee. Then, I mix about 3/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk with just a splash of Natural Bliss vanilla creamer in a measuring cup. Pop that into the microwave for 1 minute to steam the milk, then froth it with this handheld frother. Pour over coffee! Breakfast was oatmeal with 1/2 a scoop protein powder, peanut butter, & blueberries.
Morning snack: 2nd cup of coffee + Coconut BUILT bar. I love these bars. Each flavor is a little different in terms of nutrition stats if you care, but per bar they are roughly 130 calories, 17g of protein, & taste like a candy bar. Lunch: Ground turkey seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning + cauliflower rice + steamed broccoli topped w/ Bolthouse Ranch & Cholula’s chipotle sauce
Lunch Dessert: 2 raspberry galette cookies from a Harry & David gift box that was sent to us.
Afternoon snack: Sliced gouda cheese + pretzel sticks (had this x2!)
Dinner: Chicken Sausage, Asparagus & Sweet Potato Fries – This is a super easy “throw together” meal. The asparagus & sweet potato fries just go in the oven and then we just microwave the andouille chicken sausages (they are precooked) right at the end and serve all together!
Dessert: a few pieces of this 🙂
