2020 has had many ups and downs for all of us. One positive thing that has come out of it for me, and I think for many others, is that it forced us to slow down. It had us stay home. It allowed us to focus on the things that are most important and to create new moments that bring us joy. My husband and I take in more sunsets from the porch, connect and talk about our day, and just unwind while being grateful for our health and for each other. For us, opening a bottle of Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon wine has been an essential ingredient to enhancing those special experiences with one another.
I do think that 2020 has shown us all what’s most important in life, and our emotional connections and realizing that we are stronger together is the greatest of them all. One of my favorite things to do is get cozy at home after putting the baby down and enjoy quiet time with my husband while we sip on a glass of wine. Those are the small moments that are actually the big moments.
Now that we are getting into fall and cooler weather, I know that the Rodney Strong Cabernet will be making its way out to patio with us as we sit by the fire pit and breathe in the crisp air and also in front of the fireplace inside! I’ll definitely be bringing a bottle to the holiday dinner table for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The flavor of the wine is so good and I would highly recommend this bottle to any of my red wine lovers out there! If you’re into reading about tasting notes, the “2017 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is rich with dark cherry, plum and baking spices. The delicious fruit is accompanied by black pepper notes, crushed violet and cassis. The palate has medium tannins, lingering spicy oak flavors with a velvety lush finish.” Sounds amazing right? It is.
The other amazing thing is that the branding and packaging are clean & classic, and you can get a bottle for under $15. A bottle of the Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon would also make a good gift to wine-lovers! Sharing your favorite bottle is a great way to build a bond with a friend or family member. Lastly, something that is the cherry on top of a delicious, price-point friendly bottle of wine is that it comes from certified sustainable vineyards. Fish friendly farming, wildlife protection, water conservation, soil conservation, and being a carbon neutral winery and vineyard are just a few of the sustainability efforts at the winery and vineyards. You can read more about the Rodney Strong sustainability efforts here.
I love how the experience of drinking a glass of wine helps really slow down a moment in time and be more intentional in the moment. I highly recommend you grab a bottle of this Cabernet and do the same!
Cheers!

Bess
