I shared on IG last week that I was making my at-home latte and 99% of you all voted you wanted me to share how I make it! So below you’ll find the “recipe” for my easy at-home latte.
First off, you’ll need a frother. I use this $14 one from Amazon. I just make our coffee in a traditional coffee pot (we have this one, currently almost $100 off) and then pour my coffee in the mug about half way or three quarters of the way full leaving room for the milk.
To make the frothed milk part…first just choose whatever milk you prefer. I have been using unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Then I mix in cinnamon and *sometimes* a splash of whatever creamer I usually enjoy. This is a fun way to add in flavors, like vanilla, hazelnut, or something festive like peppermint. Pour all of that into a glass measuring cup (I usually use the larger 4 cup one so there’s extra room, this way it doesn’t spill out during the frothing!) and stir together. Put into the microwave for 1 minute or 1:30 seconds just depending on how hot you want it. Then place the frother in the milk combination for 30 seconds to a minute, or until it starts getting bubbly and frothy.
Pour over your coffee & enjoy!
Cheers!

Bess
