Before Emma was born I couldn’t help myself; I wanted all the girly boho pink vibes when it came to her nursery and her clothes. But now that she is getting a little older *cue tears* I have been finding myself gravitating more towards easy to mix-&-match neutrals. Ya know, kinda like my wardrobe 😉 But really, creating Emma’s capsule wardrobe just helps us keep a little bit of a reign on how much we are buying since so many things can go together to create lots of different outfits. Sharing where I got everything & sizing info below!
Emma’s Capsule Wardrobe
H&M
H&M has such great kids clothes. I think if I could only get clothes from one place it would be H&M. Great quality and affordable (especially great to stock up whenever they have a sale.) I would say that H&M tends to run a little big, but I just get her true size because I like she has some room to grow into it! She is in the 12-18 month size right now. I also love the little boots I got her because they are velcro on the back making it easy to put on/take off!
Target
Of course Target has some great staple pieces too! I don’t think their selection is as good as H&M, but I’ve grabbed a few little leggings and this cardigan that are so cute. I think most of the Cat & Jack stuff at Target seem to run small, she’s in 2T leggings and they are already tight!
Amazon
I found Emma’s combat boots on Amazon but they are Carter’s brand. They must have been from last year because they aren’t on the Carter’s website. I know people find cute stuff on Amazon too but I don’t do a ton of shopping for her on there. I did get her 1 year birthday picture outfit from there though and love it! For the combat boots, I recommend sizing up one. They seem to run a little small compared to her other shoes!
Others
I grabbed a couple things for Emma at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and her sneakers she wears all the time are from Carter’s.
Hope this helps!! I think buying a bunch of neutrals just makes it easier to mix & match and since everything goes together. It also makes my neutral loving heart happy, but of course H&M and all the other places have plenty of color too, if that’s more your thing 🙂
xo,
Bess
