Hey friend,
You might have heard me talking about my newsletter troubles, and just when I thought they were fixed…I am still having some issues I’m working through to get my emails back. So while I work that out, I decided to post the newsletter right here on the blog for this week. It’s a little different in blog form than it would be in the email, but I’m going to try to replicate it as best as I can. And if you haven’t already subscribed to the email list, this will be a taste of what you’ll get in the newsletter each week–once I get it back going, that is! Fingers crossed for next week.
Thanks again so so much for your patience with this! And now on to The Last Newsletter of 2019: Today On The Blog.
In this section of the newsletter I like to share posts that you might have missed on the blog, but since you’re here reading…take a look around! I have different categories on the menu at the top of the page.
Tips of the week are always fun right?! I thought it would be fun to share one of my past tips as well as a new one here:
Past tip:
If you shop online and don’t already have the Honey extension downloaded on your browser, you should! It saves you money and earns you cash back on the shopping you’re already doing. This will be huge especially during holiday shopping!! I hate looking back into my emails to find coupon codes for discounts on sites or Googling them to find they’re all expired. Honey does this for you and automatically finds, tests, and applies the best coupon code available at checkout on 40,000+ popular sites. It even finds better prices on Amazon. You can also earn rewards just for shopping (even if there isn’t a deal) with Honey Gold.
If there’s an item you have your eye on but you’re waiting for it to go on sale, you can add it to your Droplist. Droplist watches your favorite items, notifying you when the price of an item drops below the amount you choose.

New tip:
If you don’t already chop up your salads with scissors, I recommend you try! Not only does it make your salad feel like it’s a fancy chopped salad from a restaurant, but it also helps prevent you from shoving entire pieces of huge lettuce or spinach in your mouth.
The new finds section is where I highlights a few of my favorite new finds or products that I am loving so that I can share with you. Oftentimes, the newsletter is the only place where I share these so it’s an exclusive section just for subscribers.
Below I’ve shared a few of my current and past finds in an easily shoppable section.
Every week in the newsletter I share a brand new workout with picture demonstrations in PDF format so you can print them out, if you’d like. They look a lot like this All About the Booty workout. I will be sharing a new one on the blog on Wednesday but generally they go out early in the Monday newsletter for subscribers. The printable is usually only in the newsletter but since I’m unable to send that this week, it’ll be another freebie on the blog!
Each week I share a new mini challenge for us to try for the week as a way to find good habits to implement into our day! I know not all of these will be ones you want to stick with after the week, but some might just be the habit you never knew you needed 🙂
This week’s challenge, in honor of the new year, is to set your intentions and priorities for the year. These don’t have to be big things, but try to really think about what is most important to you and what you want to give more of your energy to. In that same vein, think about the things that have taken up too much of your time that you want to stop giving so much energy to. 2020 is your year <3

Lastly, I like to end with a fun, useless, random fact. Because…why not?! And it might help with winning trivia someday. This week’s is a twofer in honor of NYE.
Did you know?
- The song traditionally sung on New Year’s, “Auld Lang Syne,” means “times gone by”.
- January is named after Janus, the god with two faces, one looking forward and one looking backward. He is the god of beginnings, transitions, gates, doors, passages, and endings.

I’ll keep you posted on the newsletter’s status on my Instagram and hope to have it up next week. Hope you have a Happy New Year!
