Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope you’re all having a lovely holiday! I wanted to take some time to write out a brief list of things I’m thankful for this year…although some may be obvious, I never want to take these things for granted as they are the most important things in my life.
- Emma – I’m so blessed to have become a mama this year to the sweetest little sugar. She has already taught me so much and has made my heart bigger than I ever knew possible.
- My husband – Craig is my absolute rock and he supports my every dream. I am so lucky to have him in my life and even luckier to have been the girl that got to marry him.
- My family – I’m so lucky to be surrounded in both my family and Craig’s family with some really wonderful people. We both have amazing parents, siblings, cousins, & grandparents, and I’m even more glad that Emma gets to have these people as her family as she grows up.
- My job and all of you – I am blessed to do a job everyday that I love. I think back to 10 years ago when I started blogging…I never thought that one day it would be my job. It was just a hobby that I loved. I’m just so glad and feel so fortunate that it did become my career because it’s truly my passion. I hope you all remember that you can make anything happen that you want for your life. It might not happen overnight, but just don’t give up and never stop believing in yourself. It is because of all of you that I’m able to do what I love and I am eternally grateful for you being here and sharing your time with me.
- My health – It’s something we can easily take for granted, but I know that I am so lucky to have my health. I know that it’s a blessing that I can wake up each day, exercise, go on walks, pick up my baby, hug my loved ones, etc. and again I’m just so grateful.
I know these things seem pretty “basic” but I think that’s for a reason…at the end of the day we don’t really need much, do we? All these things that we buy and fill our lives with; the material things…they don’t mean anything. The people and the relationships and the love that we have in our lives are what matter.
I’d love to hear the things you’re thankful for? Let me know one thing or even a few things in the comments. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
xo,
Bess
