Hi loves! Still hangin’ in there at 40 weeks preggo. Whoa.
I don’t know if it’s because it has been basically 100 degrees here every day this past week or what but this week I was more feeling my lighter strength training workouts (that I get to do in the AC!) as opposed to my long 5 mile walks I was doing last week. I need a treadmill 😉 I have been doing workouts from my Pregnancy Fitness Guide and just doing 2-3 sets with light weights or just my body weight. Since you gain weight as you progress in pregnancy, “body weight” workouts really do take on a whole new meaning. I mean, I’m carrying almost 30 more pounds than I was prior to getting pregnant so you can bet I am feeling that weight in my squats! Still trying to conserve energy for labor but exercise does give me energy on a day to day basis so finding that balance is different every day. Just listen to what your body needs/wants/feels like!

WEEKLY WORKOUT SCHEDULE
Monday: Arms & Back Blast Workout (2-3x) + Legs & Cardio Workout (2-3x)
Tuesday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to walk or do a spin class on these days.

Thursday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to walk or do a spin class on these days.
Friday: Full Body Flex Workout
Saturday: 45-60 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to walk or do a spin class on these days, or sometimes a long hike! I add about 15 extra minutes in just because I feel like I have more time on the weekends for some extra exercise! If we hike it’s usually closer to 2 hours 🙂
Sunday: rest day or a nice easy walk!
