I’ve gotten some questions lately if my activewear I’ve been using is maternity and what I’ve been wearing! The answer is, really besides these maternity leggings, everything else I’ve worn has been nonmaternity and I’ve just been able to size up. I think this gives people more options so I wanted to share some nonmaternity activewear I’ve worn during pregnancy that I really have been loving in case it helps you out, too!
I also think having regular/nonmaternity pieces that are maybe just bigger sizes can be helpful for postpartum. I don’t expect my body to just shrink back to normal size and I know I’ll want to start working out once I get cleared from my doctor. This way I won’t feel like I have nothing that fits!
Tank Tops & Sports Bras: I love tanks from Onzie. They are so soft and I love the cute patterns. The bras are also really supportive, even the strappy ones! I also love tanks and sports bras from Lulu.
Shorts: My go-to shorts always are the Lululemon Speed Short (faves!) and the Nike Dri Fit shorts. I’ve had the black pair of Lulu’s I’m wearing in the picture above for about 6-7 years now and they’re still in such great shape. Also, these Nike shorts are on sale for under $25. I have that very pair and love them.
Leggings: Again I have been wearing Onzie leggings a lot and just sizing up. So far, my Lululemon Align leggings still fit in my normal size (they are just that stretchy!!) and I also love my Beyond Yoga leggings, which are still also fitting in my normal size.
