One of the issues I’m sure many preggo ladies have is trying to find pants or shorts that fit and whether or not to bite the bullet and buy maternity styles. If I was having a fall or winter baby, I would probably be all about buying maternity jeans but since Emma is due in July and it’s getting warmer and warmer, I feel like my days of actually wearing jeans are coming to an end. So because of that I didn’t really want to buy maternity jeans if I wasn’t going to get much wear out of them. That’s when I discovered there’s such a thing as a pregnancy belly band, aka the Bellaband from Ingrid & Isabel. You learn a lot when you get pregnant! And this seems like the most brilliant invention ever and it has helped me continue to wear my pre-pregnancy jeans! Today I wanted to give a little review of the Bellaband so you can see why I love it so much!
Bellaband – Pregnancy Belly Band Review
So essentially, the Bellaband is a wide, stretchy band that you wear over your belly and the tops of your pants, which you can leave unzipped and unbuttoned as you need to fit your belly. It has a silicone strip along the bottom so it stays in place and doesn’t roll up or down. It’s so stretchy and fits perfectly, not digging in or feeling like it’s too tight anywhere. I love the support it gives. You can check out how to wear it here, but it’s pretty straightforward!!
It comes in white, black, navy, and nude. I have the white and black right now since that’s what works best for my wardrobe! I am in the size 2 currently. The size chart on their website will help you select the right size! You can also buy them either individually or in a pack.
While I may not wear pants for much longer in the southern heat, I am looking forward to being able to wear some of my shorts thanks to the Bellaband!
