Rib Knit Maternity T-shirt Dress | Jean Jacket | Suede Heeled Sandals | Bag (mine is from a few years ago–same style, new colors here) | Sunglasses | Bracelet | Necklace | Earrings
Going into my first pregnancy, I wasn’t really sure what to expect in terms of how my body might change and what clothes I’d wear…of course other than making sure they are comfortable! That is always a top priority for me, pregnant or not! I figured since I’m having a July baby, the weather would be warmer during the later stages of my pregnancy and I could probably just live in stretchy or flowy dresses.
I’ve grabbed a few non maternity ones that are more of the flowy, maxi style so I can wear them after baby as well, but there was one item that really caught my eye the other week and I just had to have it. So today I’m pretty excited to share my first maternity clothing purchase with you! It does not disappoint. I have already worn it a few times and because of the super soft, stretchy material, I know I’ll be able to wear it the rest of the time with this bump!! It is SO comfortable.
Having a go-to little black dress is a closet staple for anyone, and I think there should be no exception when you’re pregnant! So this Rib Knit Maternity T-Shirt Dress just really called out to me because of it’s versatility AND it’s price! You can totally dress this up for date night or a nicer event, or dress it down and pair it with sneakers and a jean jacket. I fell somewhere in between on that spectrum for this outfit!
Then the price…YES PLEASE. I will do well to only buy 1 color at this price. It’s likely I will buy the pink one too…it’s so pretty!! It’s usually $29.99, but it’s currently on sale for under $23. I ordered a medium after reading the reviews on sizing, and I would say it fits pretty true to size and to just order your pre-pregnancy size. Like I mentioned earlier it’s super stretchy so there’s plenty of give. For reference, I am 5’9″ and usually a 6-8 in dresses.
The dress is from Motherhood Maternity and they have really cute stuff for such reasonable prices. Definitely check them out if you’re expecting!

Love your dress and the way you styled it! I loved motherhood maternity when I was pregnant! I tried to buy things that would transition well when nursing too. A Pea In The Pod has a great sale section and they are always offering discounts too. A great way to dress your bump without spending an arm and a leg!
