Happy Sunday Loves. This week is a fresh week of workouts and I’m going to use some of my Workout Wednesday posts to show you how you can incorporate these into your workout routine on a consistent basis. I personally like to do circuits/strength training M-W-F. I do cardio on T-Th-Sat. I realize 6 days a week of working out might not be everyone’s preference or realistic for everyone, but it gives you an idea of how to sort of break up your routine and be sure you’re getting both strength training and cardio workouts in!
Weekly Workout Schedule
Monday: Lean Legs Workout
Complete 5x through:
- Squat to Press, 15 repetitions
- Back Lunge with Hop, 30 seconds per side
- Lateral Lunge, 12 repetitions per side
- Alternating Toe Touch Squat Jumps, 16 repetitions
- Leg Abductors, 15 repetitions per side
Tuesday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to run or do a spin class on these days.
Wednesday: All About the Abs Workout
Complete 5x through:
- Bicycle Abs, 40 reps (20 per side)
- Plank Snaps, 30 seconds
- Oblique Crunches, 15 per side
- X-Ups, 20 reps
- Standing Oblique Pulls, 20 reps (10 per side)
Thursday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to run or do a spin class on these days.
Friday: 5-Move Full Body Workout
Saturday: 45-60 minutes cardio of your choice. I like to run or do a spin class on these days. I add about 15 extra minutes in just because I feel like I have more time on the weekends for some extra exercise!
Sunday: rest day or a nice easy walk!
