Alright y’all, so one of my goals for the new year was to be a lot more intentional about my spending. I am pretty good for the most part about not overspending or buying things I don’t need, but there’s always room for improvement, right? You may know that Craig & I have pretty set budgets we stick to so that we can get closer to our financial goals each month (side note: more to come on this soon for anyone that needs help with this stuff!! Join my newsletter to be the first to know) so I know I have a certain amount I can spend on shopping if I want to. So after only buying a couple $12 pairs of leggings in January, when I came across this top, I was instantly in love with it. It is a little more than I would normally like to spend on a top, but after much thought and deliberation, I decided that this would be an excellent investment piece for spring and summer. I know I will be able to wear it to a ton of places and I know it’ll accommodate the growing bump!

Why I Love It
What I really love about this tunic is that it just seems really versatile to me. I can definitely dress it down and wear it with leggings, jeans, or jean shorts with the top tied up in a front knot. I can also wear it over a pretty dress or skirt in the spring and summer! It’s very lightweight so I’m not worried about getting too hot in it. I didn’t get a picture of the back, but it has a pretty cutout in the top of the back too which I love. Overall it’s just really pretty and I knew I could feel confident wearing it even as my baby bump grows!
Also, I definitely plan to use it as a cute cover up for swimwear too. It’s the perfect length for that as well. Yes, it’s a little investment piece, but one I know will get beyond its fair share of wear. And really for something I think will last me years to come, the price tag really isn’t so bad 🙂
