Can y’all believe that Christmas is around the corner?! If you’re still looking for the perfect gifts or need holiday outfit inspiration, I’ve got you covered today. Because while you may be feeling like you’re running out of time, the Macy’s Holiday Countdown Sale can ease that anxiety. The sale is running December 20th-24th and is 20% off with code GIFT. Below I’m sharing three different holiday outfits, all from Macy’s, that would suit a variety of holiday gatherings or festive get-togethers.
Holiday Outfit #1
I love this checkered sweater (similar pullover style here), it absolutely screams festive but it is still so stylish. I love the draped shawl collar too, which takes it up a notch on the dressy scale. The best thing about this sweater is that it really does the work for your entire outfit. The rest can just be a simple, all black look because this sweater will steal the show. It’s also so soft and warm! Plus, buffalo plaid is a timeless holiday look, so you’ll get to wear this year after year. Also, a girl always needs a good pair of snow boots, am I right?! I love Macy’s selection.
Holiday Outfit #2
This is my go-to outfit for holiday gatherings: leggings, oversized sweater, scarf, & warm boots. I am all about being as cozy as possible but still looking nice for the occasion. This sweater is incredibly cozy and a plaid scarf makes it perfect for Christmas. I love that since the scarf is smaller you can still wear it with a cowl neck sweater. Macy’s has a great selection of scarves!! These faux leather leggings are one of my absolute favorite things I own and I highly recommend them. Lastly, warm shearling boots are a necessity! I mean, it’s pretty much like wearing slippers all the time. That’s A-Okay in my book!
Holiday Outfit #3
If you like to be a little dressier for the holidays, but still want to feel comfortable, then look no further than this skirt/sweater combo. The skirt makes it dressy enough for fancier holiday parties, but the sweater contrasts with a nice casual feel to keep you warm. You could either wear a pair of heels to really make it dressy, or a cute pair of booties if you wanted it more on the casual side. I love that the color combos here are still Christmas-y without being the standard reds & golds, but rather a twist with the deep burgundy sweater. You could also tie up the sweater in the front and the back for a more polished look, or left down for a more casual, slouchy look! This outfit would also double as a great New Year’s Eve look!
