One of the most highly requested gift guides was this one, the Gift Guide for Him! So I naturally thought the best place to start was going straight to the source, so I got my hubby Craig to help us with this one. So I’ve shared the things that I as a female would buy so you can see my ideas, and then we have Craig’s recommendations as well so you’ll have all your bases covered. He even gave little details about why he likes these things, so I decided to follow suit! He’s pretty good at this blogging thing I’d say! 😉
Gift Guide for Him: By Bess
So Craig actually did his picks first so I definitely would have included a few on my list but we don’t need to be redundant! I will say I endorse his selections.
Here are mine:
- Yeti Cooler: Yes this is a pricey gift, the most expensive you’ll see on this guide. But he will LOVE this gift and use it forever. Yeti’s customer service is also AMAZING so it’s an investment you can feel comfortable making.
- ‘Antlers’ Glass Decanter & Wood Stopper: I love the rustic charm of this decanter with the antlers on it.
- Vibe Stretch Boxer Briefs by SAXX: Sorry if this is TMI but these are picky husband approved. So if your husband/bf/fiance etc. has a hard time finding quality underwear, try these out. Sorry in advance for the very in your face picture of this model. Or…maybe I should say you’re welcome? LOL moving on!
- BOSE SoundLink® Micro Bluetooth® Speaker: Honestly you can’t go wrong with a bluetooth speaker as a gift because they seriously always come in handy…but with a brand name like BOSE you can feel good about the quality!
- Cashmere Waffle Knit Pullover: A fancier gift but one I think he’d really appreciate. It’s a flattering fit, super soft, and can be worn to more casual get togethers or nicer events alike.
- BOSE SoundSport® Free Wireless Headphones: Everyone needs a pair of wireless headphones.
- The Art of Shaving Mid-size Kit: Why not help him pamper himself a bit with a routine task like shaving? I think this gift box is so fun…and classically cool. I’ve heard good things about this brand from guy friends too!
- Button-down Flannels: These are the best flannels ever. I own a few of the women’s version myself. They’re legit.
- Two-layer Henley shirt: The perfect casual top for a chilly weekend!
- LL Bean Boots: It’s called “THE ORIGINAL” for a reason. Many have replicated, but these boots are the best. I’ve had a pair of the women’s boots for over 5 years and they are still in amazing condition with a LOT of wear
- Ted Baker Trent Leather Strap Watch, 44mm: A nice watch, I like the darker face of this one and the tan leather. Unique but still classic.
Gift Guide for Him: By Craig
- Kenneth Cole Pea Coat – a solid pea coat is a must for any man (unless you’re lucky enough to be a cowboy). This one won’t break the bank.
- Patagonia R1 – Full zip – Maybe the most versatile piece of clothing I own, especially if you pick a neutral color. Great for the office and the outdoors.
- Darn Tough Socks – Love these socks. They’re cozy and great hiking (or mountain biking) socks
- DeWalt Drill – I got a drill to fix the deck and I haven’t stop using it since…way more than I thought I would. This one is the one I got and I don’t regret it one bit (pun intended). Comes with two batteries, although the battery life on each is great.
- Patagonia Wavefarer Shorts – these are the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned. They also can be dressed up or dressed down. They’re super lightweight.
- Yeti Rambler – The price seems high until you realize how awesome these are and how long they hold ice.
- Thermacell Mosquito Repeller – I don’t own this, but I feel like I should
- Cole Haan ZeroGrand Wingtip Oxford – Just got these. They’re comfy and can be dressed up or down.
- Black Hole Duffel – I love this bag. Easy to take through airports and it’s tough.
- The River of Doubt – This book is great if you love the outdoors of ir you just love history. I had a hard time putting it down.
- Joe’s Jeans – I would have scoffed if you’d have told me I would own designer jeans one day. Then one day I put these on and thought “oh this what wearing yoga pants must feel like…no wonder girls where them everywhere”
- The Sopranos – Maybe the best show of all time?
- Knob Creek – No description needed
- Zippo Hand Warmer – this gadget seems like it would be great for fishing, hiking, etc
- Exped Double Mattress – I need this. This is how you get your wife or sig other to go camping
There ya go!! You’re bound to find something for the guy(s) in your life with this nice list!! And yes I would love if we had a double mattress for camping but he knows I will sleep on the ground too 😉
Happy shopping!
