I do love Halloween and always have, but I feel like I’m kind of in that weird stage between dressing up and going out with friends and having kids of my own that I can take out trick or treating. AKA, I like to sit home, watch non-scary Halloween movies (like the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown) and pass out candy to cute trick or treaters. That being said, I do still like to feel a little festive by dressing up because I feel like when I was little, I always loved going to the houses where people were really into Halloween. They had their Halloween decor and they had on their costumes too. So while I don’t go over the top, I do try to bring a little festive flare. I do *not* however always think very far ahead for this right now (maybe I will when I have kids costumes to think about?) so if you’re like me and want to dress up but don’t want to spend a lot of time or money on it, I have some easy & affordable last minute Halloween costumes you can get right now that will deliver in time for Halloween.
How about a fun & stylish twist on a good ole fashioned ghost? I love this shirt. Pair with some black leggings and throw some white makeup powder or face paint and white lipstick all over that face. Done! Go haunt & flaunt it.
Mermaids are always fun! First off, I think any excuse to wear this fun body glitter is enough reason to be a mermaid. These tights are also so cute or you can do these leggings instead. OR, this entire bodysuit is under $30! Top it off with some of this fun bejeweled makeup.
Can’t go wrong as a witch…obviously a witch hat is necessary! You could stop here if you wanted, but I think it would be fun to add some fun makeup like black lipstick! Spooky 😉 Pair it with this dress or this dress (which you could *totally* rewear not on Halloween) and some black booties and you’re good to go!
Skeletons are my favorite. I was a skeleton a couple of years ago and had so much fun painting my face (picture at the top! Craig was a cowboy). Then these pieces below would be so fun or you could again just wear all black! Grab some face paint and you’re ready!
Cliche as it may be, its fun, easy & festive to wear some leopard print & throw on some cat ears. Or again, all black with some cat ears. Have fun with your hair! Tease it & make it big, and draw some whiskers on your face. Easy & super cute! If you’re REALLY feelin’ it…try this bodysuit! Work itttt!
Everything in this post is either from Amazon Prime and will deliver by Halloween or from ASOS, where they have 2-day shipping for $7.99 so it will also deliver for Halloween. If you order anything from ASOS, be sure to use code WOW15 for 15% off.
