Friday night Craig & I had a little date night to Village Tavern. It’s pretty close by and has the ambiance we really like. We also love to sit at the bar, it’s nice & cozy so that’s what we did 🙂 Had a cocktail to start, then Craig got a burger and fries and I got the Thai Chicken Salad, which is SO huge and delicious, but man I really wanted some fries. So then I ordered a side for myself. #balance!
Saturday morning I had coffee & two paleo blueberry muffins for breakfast, then ran 5 miles (first time really working out since filming all day on Tuesday and being SO painfully sore for 2 days. Lol it was almost comical how sore I was.
Most of the day I just hung around the house, watched football and relaxed! And watched the cute deer in the backyard.
Saturday evening’s set up was pretty much this:
Spent the evening watching more football and doing some work on the computer! It was a nice leisurely Saturday!
Sunday I decided to start tearing apart the kitchen by removing the old stone backsplash. Countertop tear outs are this week and then we will be underway on the new stuff!
After that I took a walk around the neighborhood for some steps.
Slowly starting to feel like fall, y’all.
Sunday dinner was chili in the crockpot 🙂
