Carter Wedding Weekend
This weekend we headed to Hendersonville to celebrate Craig’s middle brother, Matt, getting married to his beautiful WIFEY Ellen 🙂 I have to be honest, I was sort of terrible at taking photos… just tried mostly to be in the moment with everyone and enjoy celebrating. But I know the photographers must have gotten so many amazing pictures, and I can’t wait to see them!!
Friday night was rehearsal dinner night, and there were some evening storms in the area so everything kept inside.
… I mean, would it really be a Carter wedding if there was no rain? Lol.
If you’re new around here, Craig and I got married in the middle of a hurricane. So it felt oddly familiar and almost appropriate that it was raining! Luckily for the day of the wedding, it was just scattered thunderstorms, and they were able to get in their outdoor ceremony as they planned. The ceremony wrapped up just as rain drops started to fall again so it all was timed very well! I’m happy that Ellen got to have the ceremony she wanted and see her vision live out. It was a beautiful backdrop!
And for sure the clouds gave way to a beautiful view over the mountains!
Obviously one must take advantage of these times and have a mini photoshoot 🙂
The evening was beautiful and I can’t wait to see the pictures!!
And we aren’t done with weddings…we leave for Colorado this week for another one 🙂
By the way, I got a ton of messages about my bridesmaid’s dress. It is from Needle & Thread, and I think my color must have been from last season (I bought the dress earlier in the year) but there is a blush color currently out there and I found some similar styles by the same designer. I linked them below!!
