This weekend was a fun one in Panama City Beach, Florida celebrating my future sister in law’s bachelorette party! It was a really fun weekend, although I’m feelin’ it a little now ha 😉 It was worth it.
I headed down there on Thursday after a few flight delays due to bad weather. Unfortunately it was the worst flight I’ve ever been on because we went right through the middle of a thunder & lightning storm. The turbulence was pretty scary and seeing lightning right outside the window is always a little unsettling but we made it. I don’t *love* flying anyways so I’m sure I was more freaked out than the normal person. I just prayed hard until we landed!
So then we had Friday and Saturday full days ready to hit the beach!!
The water is really so beautiful.
So for some background, Ellen (future sissy) is marrying Craig’s younger brother, Matt. They’re getting married in August so countdown is on y’all! And Matt had his bachelor party this weekend too, so Craig went there. It was funny to get pictures from both parties sent back and forth and see what the others were doing 🙂
This party had a “Beyonce” theme, because of the Mrs. Carter name of course. You may remember mine had a similar theme around the time Beyonce was on her Mrs. Carter World Tour, so mine was the Mrs. Carter Bach Tour 😉 I mean you really can’t go wrong with a Queen B themed party, and when your last name is going to be Carter, it’s practically an obligation!
We pretty much just lounged around on the beach or chilled out in the water both days. Friday for lunch we walked down to a little lunch spot on the pier and got fried seafood & some frozen adult beverages to take back to our beach spot with us.
Friday night we got some cute pics on the beach in our Beyonce themed tanks each with a different song lyric of some sort on them.
That night we had salad & pizza at the house, played some fun little bridal games and then headed down the road to Coyote Ugly. It was a fun time!! I just wish Tyra Banks was there dancing on the bar lol. It was not so rowdy as the movie 😉
The next day was the same thing…beach time!
That night we went out for drinks, dinner & more dancing!
The night might have ended with the last 3 of us standing getting 4am Waffle House so…that happened. 3 hours later I was awake and packing up to head back! I had to sit in the airport most of the day and was so happy to get home. Tired of course but it was a great weekend.
And I get to do it all again in 2 weeks for another bachelorette party in Miami! Lord help me, I can’t hang like I used to be able to 🙂
If you’ve had a bachelorette party, where did you go? Mine was in Charleston! I’d do it there again in a heart beat. Such a perfect spot IMO!
Where have you been on other bachelorette parties? I’ve been to Asheville, The Hamptons, Atlantic Beach, Nashville, Charleston, New York City, Panama City Beach, and soon to be Miami!
xo,
Bess

Oh my gosh you’ve gotten to go so many cool places for bachelorette parties! I’ve only been to one so far, but it was pretty low-key in Charlotte (and back when I still lived there). This one looks so fun! 🙂
