It’s looking like 2018 is going to be the year of the wedding for Craig & me. (Not our wedding of course, that was in 2016, you can read my recap here.) We have already been invited to 7 weddings and there’s still potential for a few others to sneak in there. I’m not complaining though. I LOVE weddings. I mean sure they’re expensive and all that but I love reuniting with friends I don’t get to see regularly, celebrate two people in love, and who doesn’t love the free booze & food? These are all good things in my book.
It’s also such a fun opportunity to dress up! I know we don’t all typically wear long gowns on a regular basis or do our makeup to the nines just to go to work (I’m lucky to slap on some concealer & mascara) so I love that weddings are such a special occasion and are an opportunity to dress up and do those fun things for a reason!
That being said, sometimes finding the right outfit to wear can be a challenge. So I’ve put together a compilation of some of my favorite picks to wear, categorized by dress code, to a Winter wedding since those are right upon us, plus some of my favorite accessories.

Semi Formal:
Black Tie/ Black Tie Optional:
Favorite Accessories (Jewelry/Bags/Shoes):
Lastly, this jumpsuit I think would be a great option for a semi-formal wedding or a rehearsal dinner. I am actually planning to wear it to the rehearsal dinner of a black tie optional wedding. Have not decided on what dress I will wear to the actual wedding, but it’s most likely in that category above!! Anyways, this jumpsuit is at an amazing price point under $70, comes in red, and has the MOST flattering fit. For reference I’m 5’9″ and I’m wearing a medium with 3 inch heels. It would be a super easy hem though, in case you’re worried about the length!
outfit details: jumpsuit // heels (on sale!) // clutch (similar here and here) // earrings
