What are some easy hair styling tips you can give for people who suck at doing hair?
Lol! I can try!! If you haven’t already read my “How to Not Wash Your Hair Everyday (Even if you Workout)” Post, go read that here. Because that is my hair life in a nutshell. Another go-to thing I do is just a simple little twisty bun, secured on top of my head with bobby pins. This is generally my hairstyle for my last day before washing 🙂 If I didn’t have to go to a corporate job, I would just do a messy bun, but I think the twisty bun is a little more “put together” and appropriate for my day job. Here’s my super creepy up close picture showing the best example I can lol. Anyways literally all I do is pull it back and then twist up the hair and wrap it around itself in a circle, then tie off with a hair tie and slap some bobby pins in if necessary.
I’m not really too good on different cute styles, I pretty much either wear it straight, wavy, or in a bun. But I found some really cute easy tutorials on Pinterest here, here, and here that I may have to try out sometime!! They seem easy enough to follow! Maybe I should start venturing out and trying new ones myself!
What are some of your favorite hair products?
Well y’all probably already know my love of dry shampoo. My favorite is the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo. When I wash my hair, I use this Shampoo and Conditioner recommended by my hair stylist. My all time favorite hair spray is the Loreal Elnett hairspray (it’s so strong but you can brush through and it doesn’t make your hair crunchy) and I am OBSESSED with this texture & volume spray from Fave4 called Texture Takeover.
Can you share some more 20 minute or less treadmill workouts?
Yes absolutely, I will be posting some more of these workouts on the blog very soon, and stay tuned for my new workout program because it will also include cardio workouts because so many of you ask for them so I’m bringing them to ya! In the meantime you can check these out from an older post!
What is your favorite way to do cardio and what are your best tips for increasing running distance??
Well I have to say that running is generally my preferred method of cardio. I played soccer my entire life and in college so running was just sort of always part of my life (even though I used to HATE HATE HATE running by itself when I actually played.) But I also really enjoy to do incline walking on the treadmill for 15-20 minutes following a circuit workout if I have time just to feel a little extra burn and get extra steps in! And work that booty at the same time 🙂
As far as my tips for increasing running distance…check out this post! I answered that with some of my tips in the first question. I will also say that for me when I very first started increasing my mileage, it was because I wanted to see if I could do a half marathon, so each Saturday week after week I would go out and run one mile further than I did the previous week. I was running consistently at that point but probably only 4-6 miles ish. So I think I started out doing 7 one weekend, then 8, then 9, etc. I think once I got to 10 I figured I could definitely do 3 more for the half so that’s where it started!!
I am sharing more details on my cardio routine and more just general info on cardio in tomorrow’s post as well.
Can you describe your AM and PM skincare routine? Your skin always looks great!
Aw thanks!! Check the blog on Friday because I am going to share my routine and the products I use 🙂
Thanks y’all!! Keep the questions coming 🙂
xo,
Bess
