Hey Beauts!! Happy Friday!
Today I wanted to share a little peek into What’s In My Fridge & Our Normal Grocery List since it’s a question I get pretty frequently!! I do want to just go ahead and say that while I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, I am not a Registered Dietician and I’m not saying that what is right for my eating will be right for your eating. Unless your name is Craig Russell Carter, and then you have no choice except to eat what I’m eating because we share a fridge and a life 😉
Alright so let’s dive in!
What’s In My Fridge & Our Normal Grocery List
We shop regularly once a week but I will say it’s not abnormal for me to forget something or need something else and pop back into the store midweek…despite the fact it really bothers me to do so because I feel like if I’ve already been in it’s a waste of my time to go again. First world problems. Anyways…here’s a look inside our refrigerator:
Here’s a normal weekly Grocery List for us. Obviously some of this is not in the refrigerator 🙂
- Spring salad mix
- Spinach
- Ezekiel bread
- Sprouts
- Baby carrots
- Green peppers
- Brussels sprouts
- Broccoli
- Sweet potatoes (I like to get the pre-cut kind that are ready to roast in the oven)
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Guacamole
- Almond Butter
- Organic blueberry preserves
- Silk almond yogurt
- Light & fit yogurt
- La Croix
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Eggs
- Liquid egg whites
- Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- Chocolate almond milk (dangerously obsessed in this house)
- Wine: Chardonnay, Rose, Cabernet Sav
- Beer (whatever Craig gets)
- Grass fed ground beef
- Organic ground turkey
- Organic chicken breasts
- Cabot lactose free cheddar cheese
- Steamable frozen veggies
- Halo top ice cream
- Frozen gluten free burritos
- Frozen fruit for smoothies (we get pineapple, strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on the reg)
- Luna bars
- Clif bars
- Veggie chips
- Tortilla chips
- Dark chocolate
- Rice crackers
- Oatmeal
- Salmon or tuna packets (great to take for lunch over salads)
- Olive oil
- Brown rice
- Gluten free pasta
- Organic tomato & basil red sauce
So I think that about covers the regular things. It’s sort of crazy how much food the two of us eat but I guess we are active adults (with a serious snacking habit…Craig is often referred to as the chip monster LOL) so we can only hope any future kids we have maybe don’t like food as much as we do. Otherwise our wallets are in trouble!
What are some of your staple pantry or refrigerator items that have to be on your grocery list every week??
xo,
Bess
