Bralettes have become a pretty trendy little statement item in my closet lately. They are more comfortable than normal bras in my opinion (and you know I’m all about comfort!) and can add a fun element to a more standard outfit. Depending on the style of the bralette, they are great options for low impact exercise such as yoga, walking, pilates, or barre, and some of my favorite ways to wear them outside of that is with an off-the-shoulder top or an open back tank to show off the details of the bralette.
Kohl’s, much to my surprise, has an amazing selection of these bralettes! I really had no idea and never thought to check there, but I was pleasantly surprised by their bralette assortment. They have a ton of different brands like Candie’s, Lily of France, SO and Maidenform, different shapes and styles, lots of different colors, etc. Basically, everything you could be looking for in a bralette, they seem to have it! The stock is better than any other store I’ve been able to find! And the price point is pretty fantastic so that is always a plus.
Three Ways to Style a Bralette
I styled three different bralettes according to the options I mentioned above, one for low impact exercise, one with an off-the-shoulder top, and one with an open back tank top.
Style 1:
The first look features the SO High Neck Bralette. When I saw this I knew it would be a perfect choice for low impact exercise and the design is so cute I knew it would be versatile enough to wear other ways as well. That’s the great thing about these bralettes, they can just be layered so perfectly that they add a lot of depth to your wardrobe. This one is so soft, it has adjustable straps and removable soft padding, but the neckline was what made me fall in love!
Style 2:
The second look is with the Candie’s Eyelash Lace Bralette. I think every gal needs a white lacy bralette in her arsenal! The straps on the back are super flattering and for that reason you definitely must wear this one with an open back tank! I love showing a little back…it’s the best way to be a little sexy but still being very modest and appropriate. I think this bralette would also be a great option for flowy dresses that may have open backs or spaghetti straps. It can just match so much.
Style 3:
The last look is the Maidenform T-back Lace Bralette. I decided to get this one in a color because while black and white bralettes are obvious necessities, colored ones take it up a notch! I always tend to lean more towards monochromes or neutrals in my every day looks, so this felt like a great way for me to incorporate some color without me feeling overwhelmed by it, ha ☺ Also, football season is around the corner, so I can definitely see myself busting this baby out for game day! It’s close enough to the Carolina Panthers color! So definitely keep these in mind if you’re looking for some game day attire for your favorite sports team.
What do you think? Do you like bralettes? What is your favorite way to style them?

Bess

All of those bralettes are way cute! I’m always looking for new ways to style mine, so I loved your options! I never would have thought of Kohl’s either for bralettes, but will be now!

Thank you!! I love open back and off the shoulder tops so bralettes give me more options I feel like 🙂
