A couple of weeks ago, a new Anthony Vince Nail Spa opened in the SouthPark neighborhood of Charlotte, in the Speciality Shops near the mall.
I have had the pleasure of going twice now for mani/pedis and I have loved both of my experiences, and since they’re a new spot in town I wanted to make my Charlotte peeps aware of them being there and a great place to be pampered!! If you don’t live in Charlotte, there may be an Anthony Vince Nail Spa near you because they’re all across the country. You can check for a location near you here.
The first time I went I was a little shorter on time so I got the hot stone pedicure (life changing) and a regular mani. I’m all about the white fingernails right now so I got them both time I’ve been…sorry I’m not sorry! 🙂
More about the hot stone pedicure:
“Pamper your dried, cracked and tired feet with this ultimate experience. Allow us to pamper your over worked legs and feet while you relax and unwind. This service includes everything that a Signature Spa Pedicure entails plus an intensely hydrating paraffin treatment and an extended, relaxing lower leg and foot massage that includes warm, smooth rocks that gently loosen tired, achy muscles. A hot towel wrap is the final touch of this luxurious experience. Your selection of polish adds a personalized touch.”
The second time around I tried one of the Herbal Spa treatments with my pedicure. These are pretty cool because you can choose one of the Botanical Escapes treatments or you can concoct your own! The Botanical Escapes have some such as these below:
I chose to make my own because that’s just how I roll so I got ginger and lavender. Those two things might not seem like they should go together but they sure did feel amazing on my feet and legs! Next came the hot stone treatment that is so relaxing, and an amazing pressure point massage on my legs so good that I told them I was moving in, because there would be no way I could leave my chair after that 🙂
They have a great selection of so many different nail colors, my go-to’s are OPI or Essie, and they’re stocked in those. I love Essie particularly so I was happy about that.
The second manicure I got I was going to get gel, but the nail technician told me about the new powdered manicure that is better for your nails than gel and last 4 weeks rather than the 2-3 you get with gel. So I got that! It does take longer to put on, it probably was 45 minutes, in case you are wanting to try it out. Also, it makes your nails a lot thicker than gel does. To me, gel just feels like my regular nails with polish on them, but with the powdered kind it felt a lot like the acrylic nails how they’re thicker. Some people love having the thicker, stronger feeling nails and I totally would recommend trying the powdered version. It ended up not being for me, just because I like more of a natural feel to my nails but they did look amazing! I ended up going back and getting the gel instead. The first picture is of the powdered manicure and the second one is the gel.
The staff is also super friendly, the ambiance nice and relaxing, the chairs all equipped with massage, TVs all around (I watched a few episodes of Fixer Upper while getting my mani/pedi) and of course you can enjoy a glass (or two!) of wine while you are pampered.
They are also having a promotion right now since they are new for 20% off some of the nail services. Those coupons are located at the front desk when you enter. Not sure when it ends, just FYI 🙂
Go give them a try and let me know what you think!!
xo,
Bess
