So before I get into the main topics of this post, I gotta tell y’all that I had a first happen this weekend. I ran a 5k here in Charlotte with a few people from my work (I rarely sign up for races anymore; hello, I can run for free in my neighborhood?!) and wasn’t really planning to try to run really hard or push myself (LOL, I’m really competitive and I know this about myself so I think somewhere deep down I knew that would happen) but I ran it in 22:48! I actually placed 2nd in my age group and in the top 15 female finishers in the entire race of about 800 people. So I’m pretty happy about that! Also given the fact I crushed an entire domino’s personal sized pizza and had 3 glasses of rose on Friday night I think that performance is pretty good haha 🙂
This week’s workout schedule is below but I have to talk about this workout gear for a second! These leggings are too good. I have a few pairs of Zella leggings and these have some extra sculpting ability that is sort of magical I’ve decided. Plus how cute is that cutout detail on the legs? And this tank top is going to be my best friend come summer time and running in 90+ degree weather!! It comes in 3 colors and I think I may need to grab them all.

Monday: Full Body Workout: Complete 3-5x through!
BACK LUNGE WITH BICEP CURL (12 reps per side)
OBLIQUE CRUNCHES (20 per side)
PLIE SQUAT JUMPS (20 reps)
WEIGHT RUNS (move your arms like you are running, 20 per side)
GLUTE HIP BRIDES (30 reps)
Tuesday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice
Wednesday: Abs, Arms, & Shoulders
Thursday: 30-45 minutes cardio of your choice
Friday: 20 minute walk or run + Abs & Booty
Saturday: 45-60 minutes cardio of your choice
Sunday: Active rest day or just full on take a rest day and lay on the couch!!
