Craig & I hosted our first annual Carter Christmas Party last weekend with some of our close friends that live in Charlotte. We were eager to have people over to our new home and having an excuse to eat & drink yummy treats is always okay with me! I’m sharing the recap of our party as well as where I’ve found some of our decor!
I got this “I’m dreaming of a wine Christmas” tag at Francesca’s. There’s a set of different ones here that are so cute! I used the wine glasses I already have but I love these for a festive touch!!
Outfit: Flannel Shirt | Black Tank | Sequin Skirt (similar here and here for less) | Velvet Choker Necklace (I also love this tank with a built in choker!) | Nails – Essie Berry Naughty | Lip Color
We requested guests bring either an appetizer or dessert and I prepped the rest!
All in all for food we had a veggie tray, candied pecans, tortillas & fall harvest salsa, BBQ pulled pork mac & cheese, cranberry apple brie, caramel apple tarts, my candy cane brownies, chocolate chip cookies, my winter solstice salad, crockpot meatballs, key lime pie cream cheese ball with graham crackers, and these easy ricotta & salami crackers.
I’ll share the recipe for those soon! Here’s where you can find my wood & marble platter. We got it for a wedding gift & I loveeee it.
We obviously had plenty of wine to go around and Craig played bartender by making his specialty cocktail, an old fashioned. Except this one had a festive twist!
Those wine glasses in the background are so pretty with the hammered gold, I am obsessed with gold right now. They were another gift, but there are similar ones here, both stemmed and without stems! And Christmas tree stirring sticks are the perfect finishing touch for a Christmas Cocktail 🙂 I found them in the dollar bins at Target! Score.
