How is everyone doing on their workouts for 2016 so far? I know a lot of people start new workout regimens at the beginning of a new year, and I think regardless of WHEN you start, it’s just important that you DO start. So maybe you’ve just started working out or maybe you’ve been working out for years. Either way, you’re doing a good thing!
I’ve been mostly following the workout schedule for my 6-week workout program, which is a great option for you if you need some ideas of what to do or need structure! The program is a free download (get it here) so even if you just want it for the schedule, or for the workouts, or even the easy, healthy recipes, it’s worth a look-see 🙂

I’ve also been keeping up with my running, mostly doing 3, sometimes 4, days a week of 3-5 mile distances. I swear, running is better for my head than it is for my body. And when I’m not on a running day, I’ll typically do a circuit workout that I make up (like this one or this one) or one from the program (like this one).
PS- I recently got new running shoes! I got the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 16. This is my 3rd pair of Adrenalines. I loved my first pair (the 14s), hated my second pair (the 15s) after they changed some things, and now so far I seem to like the 16s again! Hate when you think you’ve found a shoe then they go and change some design aspect. Oh well, seems to be going okay so far, we will see!
