Well, according to the weather forecast, it’s going to be in the high 60’s/low 70’s on Christmas Day here in North Carolina. I don’t know about you, but that puts a little strain on my festive outfits. I have big scarves, chunky sweaters, warm boots. So an alternative is finding prints (like plaid) that look festive but don’t necessarily add warmth, glittery skirts, and a faux fur vest and sparkly jewels to keep it feeling a little fancier, as I believe holidays should feel 🙂
If it gets cold enough, you could always wear leggings, your favorite pair of boots, and a blanket scarf! But if not, I think this outfit is a nice warmer Christmas weather alternative.
If you live in an area warmer than 60s/70s…I can’t help you. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a Christmas warmer than that 🙂 I’d just vote with staying in your pajamas. But really that’s never a bad idea, regardless of where you live! ha.
