I hope you had a great weekend! For those of you on the workout program…week two comin’ atcha!! The next few weeks in Zone 1 you can focus on continuing to kick butt on your workouts and making sure to track how much stronger you get. You’ll notice you can do more reps in the same amount of time and then just as your body starts to get used to those workouts…it’ll be on to Zone 2! Keep going…I’m there with you!
I shared this picture below on my Fit Fave Instagram a few days ago and I think it is spot on for all areas of life!
Speaking of Instagram, we’re about to have a round up!! If you don’t know, I have a personal instagram account that follows more of my daily life and adventures outside of the blog scope (you can follow me here @bessh) and then I have a dedicated blog instagram that is more focused on the fitness and fashion content (@thefitfave)
From @bessh:
If you remember from my old blog…I LOVE OATMEAL. I especially love it with delicious toppings. MMMMMM!
Saturday’s activity was the soccer game at Bank of America Stadium (home of the Carolina Panthers!) between Chelsea FC and Paris Saint-Germain. It was my first time seeing a European soccer game in person. I loved it 🙂 I also loved that I got to watch it from a suite with endless wine and chicken tenders, lol! My friend Molly got us the hook up. I am forever spoiled from this moment for all sporting events.
Every now and then I like a donut (or 2). They’re part of a well-balanced diet. 🙂 🙂 They served as energy for our hike up Hanging Rock on Sunday!
Hiking is one of my favorite forms of exercise because it doesn’t necessarily feel like exercise. But we did about 3 miles round trip and mostly up some serious inclines!! Legs and booty were on fire.
And then from @thefitfave:
I shared my favorite nautical summer sweater…It has fringe and an anchor print on the back. Obsessed! Go check out the post here 🙂
I shared some of my favorite white rompers on this post. Love this look for summer. You can dress it up with heels and a clutch or dress down with booties and a jean jacket!
Constantly encouraging people to get outside and play!!! It’s good for your body, mind, and spirit!!
Lastly, this was the outfit I wore to the soccer game. Pretty casual all black but dressed it up a tad with this Kendra Scott necklace (currently on sale in a variety of colors!) and as always wearing my favorite Michael Kors watch.
So that’s pretty much a recap via Instagram of my last few days. Connect with me on Instagram if you haven’t already! Search @bessh and/or @thefitfave in the app or click one of the links above 🙂 I like to follow back so I can see what cool things you are up to, also!
Alright, well I’m off to bed shortly. Have a fantastic week ahead!!!
xo,
Bess
