1. Find a program that is right for you. An exercise program is likely going to be easier to stick with if it’s quick, effective, and fun. I designed The Fit Fave Program to be just that. With all of the workouts under 30 minutes and combined with both circuit style and strength training, plus scheduled cardiovascular workouts, you get all of those aspects rolled up into one program. If you know you get bored easily with workouts, it’s probably a good idea to try something that keeps the routine changing up.
2. Get any necessary equipment. Having a few standard pieces of exercise equipment at your house will make it easier than ever to get in a workout. Invest in a pair of dumbbells at the very least. A jump rope is great for a cardiovascular workout you can do while watching TV! I also love kettlebells. They are so versatile and are great for working that core.
3. Find motivation to give you a boost! I love scrolling through Pinterest for quotes. Check out some of my favorite motivational quotes here. Also, a good music playlist can help motivate you to start your workout and give you some energy to finish it! I love this playlist for some heart-pumping beats 🙂
4. Plan out the time in your day that you will dedicate to exercise. Schedule it like you would any other appointment and make it non-negotiable!! (All you need is 30 minutes with The Fit Fave program.) Whether it is in the morning before the day begins, in the evening after work, or even on your lunch break…you can find the time and make it yours to better yourself. Do it for yourself! You deserve it!
5. Every step of the way, be proud of yourself. Even if there are slip ups, stay true to yourself and to your goals. Stay the course and you will have the lifestyle you’ve worked to achieve!
6. Find a workout buddy! If you have a friend or family member nearby, get them to join in on working out with you! You can both keep each other accountable. Go to exercise classes together or find a trail to do a walk or run! You can join in with the group starting The Fit Fave Workout Program and do the 12 weeks together with us!!
